Wounds can be complicated, choosing the right solution doesn't have to be.

The Coloplast 3 Step Approach for simplifying wound management has been designed to remove the barriers to healing through simplification. It consists of just 3 steps – Assess, Prepare and Treat.
Within the intuitive 3 Step Approach there are a range of products available to help reduce the barriers to healing. This simplified approach can be implemented across wound aetiologies and can enable eligible patients to be enrolled in a supported shared-care pathway.

Why is effective wound preparation so important?
Wound cleansing should be seen as an integral part of wound bed preparation to optimise the wound environment by removing debris, reducing bacterial load and preventing biofilm activity.

How to cleanse and debride a wound with Alprep Pad
You can use both sides of Alprep Pad - it is two tools in one.
The dark grey foam is for loosening and the light grey foam is for absorbing and capturing. Loosen first or absorb first, depending on the wound.
Alprep Pad has been specially designed to be easy to use and control, giving you the flexibility to reach areas in the wound where debridement is needed.
