Pressure Injury Prevention: Identification, Assessment and Prevention of Pressure Injuries
In this course, developed together with Sharon Baronoski, you will learn:
- What pressure injuries are
- What impact this type of injury can have for the patient and the society
- How a pressure injury develops.
- Classification system of pressure injuries
- Patients at risk of developing pressure injuries and the risk assessment tools available
- How the patient's skin should be examined and assessed
- Techniques for preventing pressure injuries.
Lastly, the final assessment where your knowledge about pressure injury prevention will be tested.
To pass this course you will need a minimum score of 70% to receive a certificate endorsed by EWMA.
