Peristeen Plus empties the bowels by introducing water into them using a rectal cone catheter. It is performed while sitting on the toilet. The water flushes out the stool, leaving the lower half of the bowels empty.

As it only requires water, Peristeen Plus is an effective alternative to other conservative bowel management methods that require the use of medication.

It can be administered either independently or with assistance, allowing you to decide when and where you want to empty your bowels.

The patient must receive thorough instructions from a healthcare professional before using this product.
