Product description
Provides optimal healing conditions1
Biatain® Silicone Non-Border with 3DFit Technology provides optimal healing conditions1 by conforming into the wound bed, absorbing vertically and retaining exudate even under compression.
- Conforms into the wound bed to reduce the creation of dead space and thereby reducing the risk of exudate pooling and infection
- Absorbs vertically and retains exudate to reduce leakage and maceration of the surrounding skin, supporting healthy wound edges and periwound skin1
- Soft and flexible materials that conform to the body and skin contours, providing comfort for your patients2
- Gentle silicone adhesion - for minimal pain upon removal1
Usage
Biatain® Silicone Non-Border is a soft and comfortable polyurethane foam dressing with a semi-permeable, bacteria- and waterproof top film and a soft silicone adhesive layer.
Biatain® Silicone Non-Border is indicated for a wide range of low to high exuding wounds in patients 40 kg and above. This includes chronic and acute wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, non-infected diabetic foot ulcers, donor sites, postoperative wounds and traumatic wounds (e.g. skin abrasions, skin tears, cuts). It can be cut, be used in combination with compression therapy and may be left in place for up to 7 days.
